The legendary Breton harpist Alan Stivell will perform a concert in the Town Hall Theatre this Saturday, 24 September. He has only played in Ireland on very rare occasions in recent years and this will be his first ever concert in Galway.
After many years experimenting with a range of Celtic rock influences and working with performers from a range of genres, Stivell is returning to his roots for this concert. Sean nós singer Caitriona Ní Ceannabháin and young Irish harpist Caitriona Cannon, daughter of Kathleen Loughnane, will join him on the night.
