Art lovers are invited to the opening of the Summer Group Show at the Norman Villa Gallery in Lower Salthill tomorrow, Thursday 12 August.

The exhibition will showcase the work of established and up-and-coming artists from Galway and further afield.
Heavyweights such as Brian Bourke, Barrie Cooke and Tony O’Malley will be showing their work, along with young stars like David Keane, David Finn, Lisa Sweeney and Philip Lindey. In all, over 20 artists will be represented.
Of particular note is a small collection of new bronze sculptures by Fr Micáel Noone, which is described as very spiritual work of the highest quality that has been developed through a long process.
The Summer Group Show opening takes place from 6pm to 8 pm tomorrow and the exhibition runs until Saturday 28 August.
