align="right" />It’s all happening for Galway based DJ/producers Tom Lavin and Adrohan. Last month saw the two lads’ debut single hit number one on leading dance store, www.trackitdown.net.
This was followed with two top ten remixes, one of which was for Matthew Dunne of his track ‘Kaktai’ and was played for three weeks in a row on BBC Radio 1 by Judge Jules and even featured in his Ibiza Weekender set live from Privelege nightclub.
The other was a remix for Northern DJ Sneijder track ‘The Venom’, which was played by giants such as Sean Tyas, John Askew and Ben Nicky. Last week, the lads released their second track ‘City of Tribes’ on Dutch label High Contrast, which is home to heavy hitters such as Marco V, Alex Morph, Ali Wilson and Cliff Coenrad.
The two say they are “absolutely delighted” to be sharing a release on a label such as High Contrast as some of their biggest heroes have released tracks on the label. The track has been riding high in the dance charts and has been supported by the biggest DJs in the world such as Sander van Door, John O’Callaghan, Eddie Halliwell and Marco V.
The lads are now busy in the studio working on a two-track EP for High Contrast, as well as remixes for ‘Discover’ and ‘Spinnin’. For more info, check out soundcloud.com/tomlavinandadrohan.
