Saturday nightclub residency, ‘Musik’ in Kelly’s will sit next to Friday’s ever-popular club night ‘Shack Up’ from now on. Musik will have an all-inclusive policy taking in the best of fresh and vintage Hip Hop, Soul, Disco, House, Electronic and Indie whilst pushing those boundaries even further on a weekly basis. To put it simply, it’s Musik for Musik lovers!

Sick and tired of the typical nights out surrounded by drunk dancing divas and legless lads? If so, then your perfect night out is returning to Galway. Funky Seomra, the no alcohol and no drugs club night, will be held at the Commercial Boat Club on Saturday 15 October at 8pm.

Funky Seomra was started in Dublin by David Mooney three years ago and has continued to grow in popularity, spreading all over the country. Its return to Galway will be heralded by DJ Mooney, who will keep the crowd dancing with the lush beats of funky world music.

Club Oa2 continues in Áras Na Gael, Dominick St this Friday, 7 October and celebrates its ninth birthday this year, a testament to the popularity of its resident DJs and their selection of tunes.

Deck men Will Softly and Ben O’Faoilain have been spinning a worldwide cultural soundclash of bass beats and grooves from past and present for years and have no intention of slowing down. All music is played through the fabulous Funktion One Soundsystem. Club Oa2 opens every Friday from 9.30pm.
