Although their music is more traditional in style, Big Bag of Sticks are a hard band to pin down to just one genre. They may be loosely described as a folk, punk and reggae band, but other genres present themselves in their music.
With four part vocal harmonies, instrumental harmonies from fiddle and mandolin/electric guitar and a driving rhythm of acoustic guitar, bass and drums, they really know how to capture the attention of an audience.
They will perform at Monroe’s Live tomorrow, Thursday 13 October. Support on the night will be by Galway band Fling.
Doors open at 9pm and tickets cost €10.
