With ‘Horse Outside’ going to number two at Christmas and the video getting over six million views on YouTube, you would want to be living in a cave under a rock on the moon to have missed the tracksuit wearing colossuses that is The Rubberbandits.
Limerick natives Blindboy Boat Club and Mr Chrome will bring their hilarious blend of lyrical comedy genius, hip-hop beats and risqué themes to the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday 28 September backed as usual on the decks by Willie O'DJ.
In what promises to be a night of great fun and music for all attending, the duo will perform tunes from their ever-growing canon like ‘Up the Ra’, ‘Song for Willie O’Dea’, ‘Roisin, I Wanna Fight Your Father’ and of course ‘Horse Outside’ while keeping the crowd in stitches with their razor sharp wit.
The plastic bag wearing layabouts will be bringing disrepute to the stage of the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday 28 September at 9pm with tickets priced at €15.
