An exhibition of new work by three recent graduates from GMIT and the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) will go on display at artist-run gallery 126 in September.

The ‘Sensory Threshold’ exhibition links the work of artists Suzanne Dolan, Marie Dollard and Tina Hopp.

LSAD graduate Suzanne Dolan examines our perception of animals and what we find acceptable to eat in her work. Laois woman and GMIT graduate Marie Dollard exploits the decorative and accessible qualities of traditional embroidery and pairs them with the more grotesque, visceral experiences of the body. Fellow GMIT graduate Tina Hopp asks what happens in states of crisis in her work 'In Crisis'.

‘Sensory Threshold’ takes place at 126 Gallery from Saturday 3 to Saturday 24 September with an opening reception on Friday 2 September from 7pm to 9pm and an artist talk from 8pm to 9pm on Friday 23 September.
