Some of the best and longest established masters of Irish mirth come to Galway in December as part of a nationwide ‘Kings of Comedy’ tour. Barry Murphy, Kevin McAleer and Joe Rooney are some of the most recognisable faces in Irish comedy.
Murphy is one of the Après Match geniuses, Joe Rooney has been making people laugh for the last fifteen years, and Kevin McAleer is one of the founding fathers of modern stand-up, having influenced and inspired a whole generation of comedians in Ireland and the UK, from Stewart Lee to David O'Doherty.
