Food lovers in the West of Ireland will be spoiled for choice and value during the upcoming Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Festival. Over 40 of the West's top restaurants are taking part in 'Dine In The West- Restaurant Week', which runs throughout the powerboat festival from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 June.

Devised by the Restaurants' Association of Ireland, 'Dine In The West- Restaurant Week' will see some of Galway's and Mayo's top restaurants offering a very special promotional three course menu for €25 per person showcasing the great tastes of the West.

From 6pm each evening, guests will be presented with a three course special 'Dine in The West' menu, which will allow culinary enthusiasts to please their palates without draining their wallets, experience new gastronomic delights and discover new cuisines.

"The week will be a terrific value add-on to the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Festival, and it is yet another reason for people to come to Galway during that week," said Fergus O'Halloran of the Restaurants' Association of Ireland and General Manager of boutique hotel The Twelve, Bearna.
