Gifted Irish-based Congolese composer and guitarist Niwel Tsumbu is released his third album ‘S’all Vibration’ on Tuesday and will start an Irish tour on Tuesday 18 October in Galway. In constant demand by his contemporaries, in the last year alone Niwel has performed with Trasna (Mel Mercier, Liam O’Maonlai) at the Festival of World Cultures and in China at Expo 2010 alongside Xiaohui Ma (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon soundtrack).

Niwel also performed with the renowned Senegalese singer Baaba Maal and his performance of ‘Electric Counterpoint’ at The Reich Festival in Cork in front of composer Steve Reich was a triumph.

The best comedians on the Irish and UK circuits will be doing what they do best but without the rude bits when the Comedy Club 4 Kids debuts over three nights in the Town Hall Theatre this month. The show is part of the Bulmer’s Galway Comedy Festival and will be hosted by comedian Tiernan Douieb.

All shows will be headlined by Maeve Higgins of RTÉ’s Naked Camera and Fancy Vittles and will have special guests each night. On Saturday 29 October it’s Joe Rooney (Fr Damo on ‘Fr Ted’/Timmy Higgins on ‘Killinaskully’), the following night it’s Keith Farnan who has appeared on ‘Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow’ and the final guest will be Tiffany Stevenson from ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’.
