• “A club for music lovers, run by music lovers”. It’s what Cuba* is, and always has been since 1998.
  We pride ourselves on the fact that our entertainment, across three different floors is unparalled in Galway City. From the funky, loungy feel of our ground-floor room Bar903, to the clubbier, r’n’b-pop-dance vibes of ClubCuba*, to the indie-rock alternative buzz that surrounds Cuba*Live on the top floor, we’ve been doing it bigger, better & brasher than everyone else since we opened our doors.
  
  People who’ve dropped by to play live, or DJ at our venue over the last 10 years include Groove Armada, The Klaxons, Bloc Party, Calvin Harris, Ash, The Frames, Crystal Castles, The Frames, Bell X1 & many more.
  
  We’ve had DJ residencies from The Disconauts, Shake!, Bodytonic, Gigantic, Choice Cuts, Naked, Johnny Moy, Strictly Handbag & Havana!
  
  We’ve been the home of so many of the students of Galway over the years, with our midweek parties often becoming the stuff of legend… and continue to be the best student nights out in town.
  
  There’s a Soulwax lyric that we’ve taken as a motto : ”Part of the weekend never dies…” and it’s never been truer for anybody than for the people behind Cuba*. Every weekend we provide the thousands of people that come through our doors with the best night out that we can.
